TAI on NTA

I was going to wait till the official photoshoot was done before blogging on our fabulous designer client, but i cant hold back and there's already so much happening with her since she joined the Blaquestar family. TAI is a trendy, chic clothing line owned by Tutu Makanjuola, a lawyer turned designer. We'll be bringing you so much more on here soon.
Yesterday, TAI was featured on the weekly NTA program, 'Noon Time on NTA'. She showcased a few of her designs on live TV and for a first timer infront of the cameras, she did an awesome job. KAS in Abuja

Friday 12th July ... Thank God its First Friday, Silverbird Abuja's monthly networking and entertaining night was the event and KAS was the main act. This was a special event as it was the World Cup edition sponsored by Hyundai. It was hosted by 'The Blenders' from iblend - Abuja's designer cocktail company and if you havent had any of their cocktails yet, ur missing out.
Even though Ghana lost to Uruguay and spirits were low, it wasn't long before the the line up of Abuja's finest took to the stage and the crowd went wild.  We got to see (and be wowed) by some hot Abuja based talent, who many (myself included) had never heard of. Lets just say i got inspired and an event is in the works ... watch this space.
KAS blew the crowd away with his two singles 'Fimile' and 'Wind for me'. He had the crowd screaming for more and they were excited to learn that he has another performance lined up at Ketchup.
So, the KAS party train moved to Ketchup to perform for more Fans and the after party at Aqua. It was surely a night to remember and we cant wait to handle his Album launch party, for his long awaited album, which is scheduled to drop later in the year.

Dr Sid 'SOMETHING ABOUT YOU' Club Tour

The Abuja social scene was out in full force last weekend as Dr. Sid stormed the city to promote his highly anticipated debut Album 'Turning Point'. Tagged the Dr. Sid 'Something About You' Club tour, the event was proudly supported by Mohits Records, Bee Entertainment, City Crawler Magazine and of course Blaquestar Konsult. Dr. Sid was accompanied by KAS, who's first single 'Fimile' has been blazing the airwaves for months now. 

It was a very eventful weekend that kicked off with a radio tour of the top radio stations in the FCT (99.9 Kiss FM, Rhythm 94.7FM and 96.9 Cool FM) where Dr. Sid did a series of interviews to promote his album as well as the events lined up for the weekend. 

Next up was an autograph signing session at KETCHUP (Omega Plaza, Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse 2). There was a huge fan turnout, great food, and overwhelming CD sales. The fans and friends couldn't get enough of him, which led him to perform two songs off the 'Turning Point' album .... thankfully, they let him go after that! 

We partied the rest of Friday night with more fans at Roma Lounge. 

PLAY SPORTS BAR & LOUNGE was the venue for the main club tour event. with the red carpet and press ready, the was a record breaking crowd ready to party with the 'feel good Dr'. Play was at maximum capacity and it was definitely a night to remember. 

KAS thrilled the crowd with his club banger 'fimile' and his new single 'wind for me', leaving his already increasing number of fans wanting more. 

Next up Dr. Sid, looking dapper as always, gave one of his hottest performances, doing nearly all the tracks off his album, as expected, there was no calming ... or stopping the crowd! 

All in all, it was a beautiful event  .... Sid rocked! Abuja rocked! .... special thanks to everyone who came out to show love!
